This Privacy Policy explains how Lottery Tycoon (operated by Shoreline Residential Group) collects, uses, and shares information when you use lotterytycoongame.com and related services.

1. Who we are
Lottery Tycoon is a planning / fantasy game about imagining lottery winnings. It is not a real lottery and does not sell lottery tickets or take real-money bets.
2. Information we collect
- Account info — email address and password (passwords are handled by our auth provider; we do not store your password in plain text).
- Game data — lists, items, settings, and other content you create in the app.
- Photos — images you upload for catalog items.
- Payment info — if you buy access, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe may share limited billing details with us (such as email, payment status, and subscription status).
- Technical data — basic device/browser information and logs needed to run and secure the service (for example through our hosting and database providers).
- Support messages — anything you send to our support email.
Sample Account is a temporary demo. Changes there stay on your device for that browser session and are discarded when you leave or close the tab. Sample demo data is not saved to your cloud account.
3. How we use your information
- Create and secure your account
- Sync your lists and photos across devices
- Process payments and manage access (including optional auto-renew)
- Send password-reset and important account emails
- Respond to support requests
- Keep the service working, secure, and improved
We will not contact you to ask for renewals, marketing, or any other purpose unless you reach out to us first. (Believe me — I personally, Paul Murray, hate spam. We will definitely not send you junk, and we will not give your information to anyone.)
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Where your data is stored
We use trusted service providers to run Lottery Tycoon, including:
- Supabase — accounts, database, and photo storage
- Cloudflare — website hosting and related delivery/security
- Stripe — payment processing
Your browser may also keep local copies (for example login session data and cached photos) so the app can work smoothly.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the service with the providers above, to comply with law, or to protect the service and users from fraud or abuse. We do not sell your data to advertisers.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies / local storage / similar technology for sign-in, preferences, and app performance—not for third-party advertising networks.
If something goes wrong, the app may keep a short list of recent error messages on your device so you can use Copy Diagnostics and paste them into a support email. Those diagnostics stay on your device until you choose to send them. We do not use third-party advertising analytics.
7. Keeping and deleting data
We keep account and game data while your account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal requirements.
If your paid access or subscription ends, we will keep your account data for up to one year in case you want to re-subscribe or buy access again. After that year, your account and associated cloud data will be deleted. (We may still keep limited payment records Stripe or the law requires.)
You can also ask us to delete your account sooner by emailing support@lotterytycoongame.com. We will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your data, except where we must keep limited records (for example payment records Stripe requires).
8. Children
Lottery Tycoon is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your choices
- Update your email/password in My Account (when signed in)
- Turn off auto-renew with Unsubscribe (for subscriptions)
- Export or import backups from My Account
- Email support to request account deletion
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
